200 RYT I got my first glimpse of yoga when the Beatles traveled to Rishikesh, India in the late 60’s. Unfortunately it would be over 30 years before I could study with a qualified instructor—but once I did, I was hooked. In 2014 I hopped a plane to Rishikesh, yoga capital of the world, and became a registered yoga teacher! Yoga is for everyone and that is how I approach each class. It does not matter what your age, sex or body type is, together we will find your very own perfect “down dog”. I make yoga accessible, with no expectations or competition—just joy in breathing and moving. |
Alisa Carson 200 RYT After attending my first class I knew that yoga was what I was missing in life. After a few years of classes I decided to sign up for training at Bodhi Yoga and become a registered yoga teacher. I began this program to deepen my practice with absolutely no intention of teaching. During training as I dove deeper and deeper into yoga, my reticence to teach was completely overwhelmed by my desire to share the benefits of yoga. I love all forms of yoga but my true passion is for Restorative and Yin Yoga. My hope is that after a beautiful restorative class with me, yoking the mind, body and breath you will become more balanced, awake and more aware. |
