Just Breathe Yoga
Who practices yoga? All kinds of people--young, not so young, tall, not so tall, flexible, not so flexible. Teenagers, parents, grandparents, a couple of guys from the gym, your children's teachers, maybe even a red cross volunteer--yoga is for every body.
What is yoga? The word "yoga" literally means "union". At Just Breathe Yoga we create union by breathing and moving--practicing traditional yoga poses in coordination with the breath.
Where are classes? Classes are in our new studio on Rose Road, 361 N 150 W in Blackfoot.
When are classes? Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8-9 am and Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm.
Why do yoga? Yoga builds strength from the inside-out by developing the core. Many yoga poses focus on the muscles surrounding the spine and abdomen, we build strength and flexibility by maintaining these poses in conjunction with our breath. There are lists and lists and article after article citing the benefits of yoga, but most of us do it because yoga makes us feel better and we enjoy the social part of classes too. How do you join a class? Just show up, you don't need any special clothing or equipment. Wear loose comfortable clothing, something that allows you to move freely.
