I got my first glimpse of yoga when the Beatles traveled to Rishikesh, India in the late 60’s. Unfortunately it would be over 30 years before I could study with a qualified instructor—but once I did, I was hooked. In 2014 I hopped a plane to Rishikesh, yoga capital of the world, and became a registered yoga teacher!
Yoga is for everyone and that is how I approach each class. It does not matter what your age, sex or body type is, together we will find your very own perfect “down dog”. I make yoga accessible, with no expectations or competition—just joy in breathing and moving.
I am a yoga junkie. My passion for yoga began over three years ago when I started practicing with Jeriann and I quickly realized that yoga has life changing power. I am hooked and became a regular at Just Breathe Yoga and Radiant Soul Yoga with Jenny Beckstead in Pocatello. After mentoring with Jeriann and Jenny I began teaching. My love of yoga and my fellow yogis has enriched my life beyond words. It is my deepest desire to share this love in every class.
After attending my first class I knew that yoga was what I was missing in life. After a few years of classes I decided to sign up for training at Bodhi Yoga and become a registered yoga teacher. I began this program to deepen my practice with absolutely no intention of teaching. During training as I dove deeper and deeper into yoga, my reticence to teach was completely overwhelmed by my desire to share the benefits of yoga.
I love all forms of yoga but my true passion is for Restorative and Yin Yoga. My hope is that after a beautiful restorative class with me, yoking the mind, body and breath you will become more balanced, awake and more aware.
